Job Description

Carry out software & firmware development for IrDA and/or Bluetooth reference design in adherence to coding guidelines and version control standards.
Performs development and debug activities for the company's products and reference platforms in conformance with design specifications.
Ensures products are designed to comply with the relevant interoperability and compatibility standards.
Organize and/or perform software application testing with in-house verification and testing tools.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronics), Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Preferably 1-2 years working experience in software/firmware development, preferably with both hardware & software/firmware development content.
Fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply.
Knowledge of ANSI C is essential.
Should have experience with programming on various OS platforms - Windows, Embedded Linux, VxWorks, Nucleus & generic RTOS environments.
Previous working experience with communication protocol stacks would be very advantageous but not essential.
Should be easy-going & highly self-motivated to produce his/her best performance with each project.
Should be fluent in English, both verbal and written, & be able to articulate technical issues clearly.
Should be familiar with key Windows applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio & Visual Studio.
