iFoundry Systems Singapore is a privately held Singapore based company developing ODM solutions for the Industrial Medical, Automotive and Consumer Electronics segments. We are active members of the IrDA and Bluetooth standards bodies. We have relationships with or sell our products to leading mobile communications and computing companies and corporate enterprises, including Motorola, Hewlett-Packard, Avago, Fujitsu, Casio, Volkswagen, Texas Instruments, Sigmatel.Company History
iFoundry Systems started off as Educational Software Products in 1983, developing educational software for the Apple II and IBM Personal Computersr.
In 1993, the company was renamed Parallax Research and started developing IrDA technology solutions.
In 1997, Parallax Research was acquired by NASDAQ listed Extended Systems Inc (now known as iAnywhere) and was renamed Extended Systems Singapore.
In June 2002, the Management Team of Extended Systems Singapore made an offer to buy over the business from Extended Systems Inc (n.k.a. iAnywhere). The offer was accepted, and as of December 2002, the company was renamed as iFoundry Systems.
